New Palace – Palace Theatre
Closed from January 2025
The Palace Theatre will be closed for events from January 2025. The renovation measures at the New Palace as part of the Special Investment Programme II will cause major disruptions that will make it impossible to run the theatre with an audience at the same time.
The Palace Theatre will also benefit from the construction work: modern stage technology, a spacious catering area and modernised sanitary facilities will provide an even better theatre and event experience. With the installation of a lift, a ramp and wheelchair spaces, the Palace Theatre will also be completely barrier-free once the construction work is complete.
The reopening is planned for summer 2027.
