Cheerful rococoClassical concert
Telemann's ‘Pimpinone’ is one of the earliest German comic operas and was very popular at the time. The refreshing comedy of the chambermaid who gets herself a rich husband and keeps him under her thumb after the wedding has lost none of its effervescent humour to this day. A real treat for lovers of classical music.
