Paretz House
To the info page of the venue
Each year in summer, Queen Luise and her family moved to Paretz. As an early Neoclassical synthesis of the arts, the ensemble of the house and village formed a charming backdrop for the royal family’s annual summer stays from 1797–1805. David Gilly created the house and the entire location as an ideal country estate, according to the wishes of the royal couple. The original wallpapers that are preserved at Paretz House are of extraordinary importance. Like few other places, Paretz is wonderfully suited to a country excursion. An attractive special exhibition of coaches, sleighs and sedan chairs that were used by the Prussian royal house has been on display in the coach house.

If the number of participants exceeds the maximum limit for the program, the group will be divided. Each subgroup will be allocated a specific entry time, and the group price will be calculated accordingly per subgroup. For some palaces, an additional fee is offered for the second entry time slot, up to a certain number of persons. This fee cannot be booked separately.
There is no minimum number of participants for a group booking. Programs can be offered in various languages, including personal tours in German and English, as well as the use of audio guides and tours in the SANSSOUCI app with additional language versions. Further information about the tours and language versions can be found in the current group price list.
If groups are accompanied by a licensed tour guide from the SPSG, a 10% discount is granted on the group package price. This discount does not apply to group bookings with an audio guide. Special openings for groups are possible upon request outside the regular opening hours of the palaces. The price for a special opening consists of the group price, a special opening fee, and, if applicable, additional personnel costs.
All information is subject to availability and changes. Group prices are only valid in conjunction with the General Terms and Conditions for Groups of the Prussian Palaces and Gardens Foundation Berlin-Brandenburg. All prices mentioned are exempt from VAT according to § 4 No. 20a UStG.
